Finals Line Up | 2026 Elite Championship

The line-up of the Boxing Ireland Elite Championship finals has been completed following tonight’s second session of semi finals – and some superb contests are in prospect.

Paris Olympian Daina Moorehouse of Enniskerry BC in Wicklow will take on Ulster Elite champ and 2022 European silver medalist, Caitlin Fryers of Immaculata BC, Belfast, in the 51kg Elite final. Daina was the 5-0 winner over 2024 European Champion, Shannon Sweeney of St. Anne’s BC, Mayo. Caitlin was the winner on the same score over Niamh Early (Unit 3, Naas) v Caitlin Fryers (Immaculata).

Paris Olympian Jenny Lehane (DCU BC) was won through to the Elite 54kg final with a unanimous decision win over Ulster Elite champ Nicole Clyde of Antrim BC – and will take on European medalist, Robyn Kelly of Ballynacargy BC, Westmeath. Robyn was the 5-0 winner over Niamh Keogh (Olympic Mullingar) in a Westmeath derby.

Galway’s Adam Hession (Monivea BC) has set up a finals contest against Paris Olympian, Jude Gallagher of Tyrone’s Two Castles OBA. Both were the unanimous decision winners over respective opponents: Adam Kiely of Saviours Crystal BC Waterford and Gavin Ryan of Ratoath Golden Gloves. Jason Nevin of Olympic BC Mullingar will meet Paris Olympian Dean Clancy in the 65kg final. Jason was the 4-1 winner over Luke Hall of Rochfordbridge in a Westmeath derby while Clancy was the 3-2 winner over Dublin’s Roy Colgan of Avona BC.

Robbie Olusola (Celtic Eagles) will take on World Youth medalist Nathan Ojo of Esker BC Dublin in the Elite 85kg final. Robbie was the 3-2 split decision winner over Jason Clancy Jr (Sean McDermott)

And Paris Olympian, heavyweight Jack Marley of Monkstown BC Dublin, will take on Garyn McAllister of North Down BC. Jack was the 5-0 winner over Dublin Docklands’ Wayne Rafferty.

Boxing on Saturday will begin at 6pm, and doors at the National Stadium will open at 4.45pm.

Watch

TG4 will live-stream Saturday’s finals, with full commentary. The co-commentary team includes reigning Ulster Elite champion Kaci Rock, and former Boxing Ireland internatonal athlete, Antoine “TonTon” Griofa.

Honourees

President Anto Donnelly will bestow a series of awards before the beginning of boxing in the 2026 National Elite Championship Finals. This will include two Lifetime Achievement accolades, and Honours in Memoriam, starting at 5.15pm.
