Women in Sport

Boxing Ireland aims to attract women and girls of all ages and backgrounds to Boxing. We strive to develop opportunities and support structures which encourage sustained participation in boxing by women and girls in all areas of our sport and at all levels of our sport, including:

Competing: at club, county, provincial, national and international levels

Participating: at club, county, provincial, national and international levels

Coaching: at club, county, provincial, national and international levels

Administration: at club, county, provincial and national levels

Officiating: at club, county, provincial, national and international levels

In line with our Strategic Plan 2024-2028 In Your Corner and Sport Ireland’s WIS Policy, we will include women and girls in our organisation in both sporting and non-sporting roles.
