Built-in 1939, the 2000 seater stadium has hosted many of Ireland’s greatest boxers, and is the Home of Irish Boxing. The Stadium covers over 17,000 square feet and is located in the heart of Dublin City. The National Stadium is the quintessential intimate multi-purpose venue for performers and fans alike.

The National Stadium is home to the Main Arena, Ringside and the historic former gun room of Griffith Barracks, the site on which the Stadium was built.
The National Stadium hosts a wide variety of events, from amateur and pro-boxing, to pantomine, cabaret. conferences, family events, worship, salsa and wrestling.
The Stadium is also frequently a rehersal space for professional theatre groups, and an examination space for 3rd level institutions.
