Boxing Ireland’s new online membership and affiliation system, Sport:80, is now open. The system is known as The Corner. Affiliation for the 2026/2027 is taking place through The Corner and all fees are due by June 30th.
A registration tutorial is available on Boxing Ireland’s YouTube channel HERE which you can access at any time.
Invitations to register on The Corner were sent to all clubs on June 16th. If your club has not received this email, please get touch. On receipt of the invitation to register email:
- Please click the link and follow the instructions
- create your password; and
- complete the two-step verification process.
- Once you have created your club’s profile please input your club and Secretary’s contact details, including postal addresses, phone numbers and club logo.
Please do not share your login details with anyone else.
Once registered and logged-in, please submit your club’s affiliation for the 2026/2027 season:
- click the Club Membership icon in the left-hand column under Profile;
- click the blue Add Club Membership button; and
- select your preferred payment option.
Lunchtime Learning: live help sessions
To support clubs during the first stage of the rollout, we will run a series of short Lunchtime Learning sessions. These will be practical live sessions lasting under 30 minutes. Each session includes a Q&A. The sessions will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1.00 pm until July 3rd. You can register HERE
What happens next?
This is the first stage of The Corner rollout. At this stage, clubs are being asked to update their club profile, submit their affiliation information and complete the annual affiliation payment through The Corner.New phases of the system, including individual membership registration and additional functions for clubs and members, will be introduced separately.
Please note that completion of the online submission and payment process does not, by itself, make the club’s membership effective. In line with Rule 6 of the Boxing Ireland Rule Book, club-affiliation applications remain subject to review and approval through the required County Board, Provincial Council and Boxing Ireland processes. For the avoidance of doubt, membership only becomes effective when all required approvals have been finalised. The Corner is being used as the centralised administrative system for the submission of affiliation information and payment. It does not remove the approval and oversight role of County Boards, Provincial Councils or Boxing Ireland
