A Team Ireland selection of Junior and Youth boxers has been invited to take on a Scotland selection in February.
The team will fly to Glasgow, and compete, on Saturday February 7th and includes 15 boxers from counties Antrim, Cork, Donegal, Down, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Louth, Meath, Sligo, Tyrone and Waterford.
The team is led and managed by Aine McLoughlin of Spartans BC Cork, and coached by Linda Morgan (Arklow BC Wicklow), Ralph McKay (St. Paul’s BC Antrim) and Garry Kehoe (Marble City BC, Kilkenny). Anthony White of Na Fianna has been appointed as R&J.
This is a key development opportunity for underage athletes, and is the first international of 2026. A total of 9 internationals in the form of single events, return leg competitions or Round Robins took place at Youth, U23 and Elite level in 2025 at locations includin Dublin, Derry, Louth and Belfast.
