Irish Athletic Boxing Association, trading as Boxing Ireland, gives notice of its AGM, taking place at 2:30pm, or shortly thereafter, on Saturday October 3rd.

Club Motions
- Club Motions for Rule Book amendments or Constitutional change are invited
- The period in which to submit club motions is August 26th to 5pm on September 18th.
- All club motions must be submitted on the attached Club Motions and Submission Form, available here

Registration
- Registration is now open.
- Clubs successfully affiliated for the 2026/2027 season may register here https://shout.com/s/BF6YxnSm up to 5pm on Thursday, October 1st.
- Eligible clubs may nominate any two adult members to attend as delegates – one to be a voting delegate, one to be a non-voting delegate. Delegates nominated by clubs must be over the age of 18. *Please note, delegates will be required to present photographic identification (passport, drivers’ licence, etc) on the day of the AGM.
Boxing Convention
To further promote positive engagement between clubs and Central Council, Boxing Ireland President Anto Donnelly invites all registered clubs to attend a Boxing Convention before the AGM, where clubs will discuss boxing related matters.
This will include an update on the Pathway Strategy, a presentation from High-Performance Director Jon Mackey, as well as an overview of new programme support being provided to clubs.
The Boxing Convention will begin at 10:45. Lunch will be served for all delegates at 13:30.
Clubs, County Boards, and Provincial Councils, are encouraged to submit discussion points and competition proposals for the Boxing Convention.
