Boxing has been shortlisted four times in three categories in the Olympic Federation of Ireland 2026 Olympic Sport Awards.
The Olympic Sport Awards recognise achievement and impact throughout the Irish Olympic sporting community, from performances on the international stage to the coaches, programmes, events and communities underpinning Irish sport.
Boxing Ireland’s High Performance Programme has been shortlisted for High Performance Programme of the Year, while there are two boxing nominees in the Community Impact Shortlist – Monkstown Boxing Club (Antrim) and James Gray of Jobstown Boxing Club. The fourth boxing nominee is in the Image of the Year category. Sportsfile photographer, Tyler Miller, is shortlisted for his images of Boxing Ireland Youth Olympian, Kristian Jubani
Members of the public are now invited to cast their votes and help decide this year’s winners. Voting is open until 15 November. Winners will be announced at a gala event on November 28th.
