Boxing Ireland is delighted to confirm that a new CRM – the online portal through which clubs manage affiliation, members, competition entry and course applications – will be launched in June.
In December 2024, in response to club and member feedback, a CRM Working Group was established, primarily to engage in research on CRMs in use in similar or comparable settings. After this, and following a comprehensive tender and review process, Sport80 has been selected as Boxing Ireland’s CRM partner.
Sport80 is a multinational company, with 80+ clients and 1 million active users, globally. The tender was awarded because of its global expertise, and in particular, it’s familiarity with boxing and boxing communities – Sport80 is the CRM provider for England Boxing.
How will the new system work? We’re mindful that this is a change, and we’ll provide a comprehensive series of Sport80 workshops to every club, county board and provincial council in May. We’ll provide as many workshops as are needed.
When will Sport80 go live? We’ll begin using the system in June, and assistance will remain on hand whenever clubs need it.
What does this mean for my club? It means that your club will stop using Blocworx, and transition to Sport80.
Clubs do not need to take any action now, and can continue using Blocworx to manage members, competition entry and course applications.
