Schedule | Women’s Commision Conference

The complete schedule for Boxing Ireland’s Women’s Commission Conference is now available, and includes 18 speakers from all areas of boxing.

Registration closes at 5pm on Thursday, May 21st. All women, aged 18+, who are members of successfully affiliated clubs are welcome to register to attend HERE

Date: Saturday, May 23rd

Time: 11am to 3pm

Location: The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Dublin.

The conference will bring together women from across our sport, including administrators, boxers, officials, leaders, and R&Js, providing a valuable forum for women in boxing to connect, share experiences, and explore ways to create more opportunities to deepen and expand their involvement in the sport. Attendees will hear from expert panels featuring high-performance athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, and leaders, offering insights from across all levels of boxing.

The conference will also include important announcements focused on advancing women’s coaching and officiating. The Athletes’ and Coaches’ Panels were previously shared.

11:05am: Women’s Commission Chair invited guest speakers: Boxing Ireland President, Anto Donnelly, Boxing Ireland National Registrar, Stephen Connolly, Boxing Ireland National Treasurer Larry Morrission, Boxing Ireland CEO Gary Stewart, Boxing Ireland High Performance Director Jon Mackey

11:15am Athlete’s Panel of Daina Moorehouse, Niamh Fay and Kellie McLoughlan sharing experience, and a discussion with all attendees on women/girls training to participate and competing.

11: 35am: NGB panel Clare McAuley and Bridget Scott and Nikki Foley sharing their own experiences both as women of the sport, and as key NGB staff.

12:05pm: R&J: Margaret Lambe & Louise Ford

12.30pm: Lunch & Networking

1.30pm: Leadership Panel: Anna Moore, Tara Robins Mari, Jenny O’Sullivan Coffey sharing their leadership journeys, at club, county board, provincial or national level

2.00pm: Coaches Panel:  Val Hamilton and Aoife Hennigan sharing experience and a discussion with all attendees on coaching and coaching progression

2.30pm – Open to the floor – Feedback
