Boxing Ireland President, Anto Donnelly, and the Boxing Ireland Board of Directors are sharing an important message with all units, clubs and club members, as we head into the 2026 National BG 1, 2 & 3 Championship.
Boxing Ireland has introduced a new Behavioural Standards Framework, which applies across all events with immediate effect. This includes:
- Code of Conduct & Behavioural Standards
- Social Media & Online Behavioural Standards
- Concerns, Complaints & Feedback Policy
These set clear expectations for behaviour for boxers, coaches, officials, parents and supporters
For clubs attending competing at any point in the 2026 National BG1, 2 & 3 Championships:
- Please ensure all individuals representing your club are aware of these standards
- Support officials in maintaining a safe and respectful environment
- Address behaviour early where needed
Behaviour may be attributed to the club where individuals are representing you
