Boxing Ireland invites nominations for officer and ordinary member vacancies for Central Council, and the four Provincial Councils, as well as Member Representatives on the Board of Directors. The nominations process opens on August 26th and closes at 5pm on Tuesday 8th September 2026. All election results will be declared at the Boxing Ireland AGM on Saturday, October 3rd.
The holding of these elections at this time follows a decision by the Board of Directors in July 2025 to postpone elections to 2026, and a review of the IABA Election Policy (September 2024) which began in May of this year, to ensure alignment with the 2019 Rulebook and the practical operation of elections across all levels of the organisation.

Election Workshop
Boxing Ireland is holding two Election Workshops, at 1pm on August 31st and 7pm on September 2nd, to answer any queries intending candidates may have on the Boxing Ireland Election Pack, the Boxing Ireland Election policy, the nomination process and the balloting process. This workshop is open to any member of any successfully affiliated club who is considering running for election, or any member of any successfully affiliated club who would like to know more about the nomination and election process. AGM Motions
- Motions for the AGM are also now invited, on the club motions notice and submission form. Motions may be submitted by a successfully affiliated club, or a group of successfully affiliated clubs. An individual may not submit a motion in a personal capacity.
- Motions must be sent to info@boxingireland.ie by 5pm on September 18th. Motions not submitted on the club motions notice and submission form will not be accepted.

AGM Registration
